WATER

Ponderosa Community Services District provides commercial and domestic water service to all improved properties within the Ponderosa subdivision.

Water services are billed annually through the property owner's Tulare County property tax bill.

Water rates are calculated at an annual flat rate for properties without water meters and at an annual tiered rate for properties with water meters. Water meters are read annually in June.

At this time, not all properties with water service are metered. All new water connections receive a meter at the time of connection to the water system. Properties already connected to the water system will receive meters at the discretion of the board of directors.

Water for the Ponderosa subdivision is obtained from 4 wells. No surface water is used. Water testing results are provided annually in a Consumer Confidence Report.

Property owners of unimproved properties desiring to obtain water service may contact the PCSD for an application for water service.

SNOW REMOVAL
Ponderosa Community Services District provides snow removal services on all roadways within the Ponderosa subdivision.

Snow removal services are billed annually through the property owner's Tulare County property tax bill.

Snow removal services are billed to all improved and unimproved properties within the PCSD. A property is considered improved once water service is established to a property whether or not any building has occurred.

The District contracts with an independant snow removal contractor, currently High Sierra Snow Removal, for removal of snow from district roads. Snow removal from fire hydrants is done by a seperately contracted individual under the direction and management of the district snow monitor.

The District is not responsible for removing snow from private properties.

During winter months the Parking Ordinance is in effect.
